I live in Virginia and am gonna lose my home. We have been trying to sell it for a few months now. We are selling it for what we owe on it because we need to get rid of it before it is foreclosed on! We are currently only behind about 1 payment I believe. Mortgage is $1,400. 1100sq ft home. We owe about 179K.. Is there any way to sell this house fast? Or we're just screwed? Are there any legit home investors that will take our home for what we owe on it? Any suggestions and help will be so appreciated! My husband has perfect credit and this will surely ruin it if we get foreclosed on.
Virginia Beach is a horrible place to live. The cost of living and housing is WAY too much. This is the very cheapest house we could find in a decent area..
What about the housing economic stimulus thing the government is doing?? Anyone have any info on that? We received a letter saying they would reduce our price from now 1,400 down to like 1,072. But is that before taxes and insurance? Because if so then it would only really take the payment down by about 100$ not much help!

House For Sale By Owner

We have an investment home--long story short--we need to get rid of it. It's becoming a headache. We got in touch with a motexinvestments who have made us an offer. They will take over both mortgages and we pay them $4500. We are done with the house. Is this legit? Because of the condition of the house and location, we anticipated losing about $10,000 had we tried to sell it ourselves.
We would remain on the mortgages until they actually turned around and sold the house. Then we would come off the mortgages. Apparently this is all in a contract.
They just sent us a contract. Can anyone look over it and see if we are protected?
We are active duty Army stationed halfway across the country, upside down in the house and trying to get out from underneath this.
