We are recently retired, own a small home in So. California on a main street in a fast growing town. We're unhappy with the fast growth, so many people, and too many cars. Because of our medical insurance and finances, if we sell our home and relocate, our only option to be closer to our kids is Georgia. We want to use the profit from the sale of our home in Calif. to pay cash for another home so we won't have a mortgage payment. We will be going there soon to check it out. Does anyone have any advice for a native Californian about Northern Georgia? Weather, bugs, etc.? We're looking at Cartersville and Acworth (just north of Atlanta).

I have been divorced for 2 years and my ex husband keeps threating to sue me for the loss of funds in the court ordered salr of our home. It had been up for sale for 11 months and the price lowered every 2 weeks. My ex husband went to the courts and filed that I was not selling it fast enough. So I lowered the price one more time and got someone to purchase it for just about pay off and a little left over. My ex got all the funds to pay off the debts that we agreed on in the divorce,. Now he's mad that he didn't get any money (neither did I). I need to take him back for child support but he keeps threaten to sue me for the money if I do. Can he still sue me or not?

My partner recently lost his job, and I'm a stay at home mum of 1 so working for me is out of the question. My partner has started a new job but he doesnt get paid for 2 weeks (he is paid fortnightly) I do get centrelink payments but not enought for rent, food and bills. I have contacted them and told them my situation and I have an interview in 10 days, so that doesnt help me now. I do sell things on ebay but I dont have anything to sell at the moment and I wouldn't make nearly as much money. So anyone got any ideas how I could make/get the money I need? (legally of course)

IF you start buying trailers which I am to produce residual income because they make great investments then you will someday want to put these trailers onto actual lot that you own so YOU don't have to pay lot rent. My question is how? Many of these lots that people want to sell have trailers on them already with people that OWN their own trailers so you can't maximize profit by putting the ones you bought on there. Is there any way that you can make this a faster and smarter process then simply waiting for people to leave your mobile home court and then putting a trailer in it's place that you own?
