It's been a crazy two weeks. Some really bad that has been offset by great things. Guess life's like that, huh?

Two weeks ago I was on my trusty computer writing a talk. In the middle of it, my screen sort of flashed and went black. Diagnosis? Fried motherboard. Luckily I had completely backed up the C drive on an external drive the day before so not much was lost.

I trotted on down to my local Best Buy and got a replacement computer and tried to restore the drive complete. This didn't work.
